Historic house & estate with Heritage Status
The recent laird, Alexandra Burnett, sought Heritage Status from the British Government in 2016.
Since then the house has been open to the public 28 days a year, welcoming visitors to explore the historic interiors, grounds, collections and archives, which have belonged to the Burnett family since 1688.
Extensive restoration work has also been carried out, resurfacing the entire exterior and securing the structure of the house for years to come.
