Get gardening!

What a wonderful few weeks we've had! Since the Open House event at the start of May the sun has generally been shining. This has meant the garden has grown like crazy, with flowers usually not seen until June blooming early.

As a gardening novice, I've been relying on our Gardener Bryan to keep me on the right path. However, I've now definitely caught the green fingered bug and am enjoying the daily, therapeutic stroll through the ground, pulling out weeds and watering pots.

In the greenhouses the runner beans are growing wild and colourful, with their sparks of fire red buds. Even the tomatoes, which usually only start to produce in late July, are starting to show tiny green jewels of future fruit.
