The summer is drawing to a close, as the late Buddleia blooms and butterflies return to the garden - a very welcome sight. However, there's no slowing down at Kemnay House as we slide towards the shorter days of autumn...
We've been busy getting ready for our final open weekend of the season, which will be on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of August, and the 3 artists who are exhibiting here during North East Open Studios 2021 (11th to 19th September) are racing to complete more amazing artworks for display.
We're so lucky to be welcoming back Alice Harman, Nik Munro and Letitia Smith-Burnett to our gallery after too long an absence. Although we have many examples of their artwork and photography available to view now, being able to meet the creators in person to chat about their techniques and ideas makes the Open Studios event very special indeed.
