Getting ready for the season...

After our winter hibernation, life is stirring again at Kemnay House:

Over the past month we have been busily organising all corners of the house and estate for the start of our visitor season - dusting off the cobwebs on those hard-to-reach places, hanging new pictures, polishing the silver and moving the many piles of fallen branches left by the numerous storms. Finally, things are shaping up!

From the 13th of April the house, gallery and garden will be open on designated days until the end of September (please see our 'Opening Times' page for further details). As Covid restrictions have now eased, we'll be running hourly guided tours with no need to prebook. However, visitor safety is a top priority and as infection rates are still high we'll continue to provide guests with hand sanitiser, tours numbers will be kept to a maximum of 10 to avoid overcrowding, and free masks will be available at the front desk.

We're also looking forward to hosting a new series of workshops this summer, which will include yoga and conservation cleaning, so keep a look out for news on our Facebook, Instagram and website pages. Our online booking form will be used for reserving and paying for spaces at these workshops.

The family and our amazing volunteers (The Friends of Kemnay House) can't wait to welcome you soon!
